Walk-In Care Later in the Day
If work, school or family commitments make a daytime visit difficult, the clinic's weekday hours run until 7:00 PM. You can come in without an appointment and see a family physician.
Patients looking for care later in the day can check availability during Blue Diamond Medical's weekday clinic hours.
When to Visit the Walk-In Clinic
- A new health concern that is not an emergency
- A health question you would like to discuss with a family physician
- A skin concern you would like assessed
- You are new to the area or looking for a family doctor
A walk-in clinic is not an emergency service. If you think you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
New Patients and Walk-Ins
Male and female family physicians at Blue Diamond Medical are accepting new patients and walk-ins.
What to Expect During Your Visit
Check in at reception and bring your Alberta Health Care number. A family physician will talk with you about your concern, examine you if needed, and discuss next steps. That may include a prescription, tests, a follow-up visit or a referral. New medications require an in-person visit.
