Dr. Reem Hamdi
Family Physician
Dr. Hamdi completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Calgary in 2015, followed by additional training (R3) in maternity and newborn care. She has practised family medicine in Calgary ever since, and joined Blue Diamond Medical in 2023.
She also works in the Labour and Delivery unit at Peter Lougheed Hospital and maintains a shared-care practice with the Lougheed Maternity Group (LMG).
Dr. Hamdi is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and has been granted Fellowship of the College (FCFP). She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Calgary and holds a Master's degree in Health Science Education from the University of Alberta.
She cares for a wide range of health concerns, including chronic disease, women's health (contraceptive management and IUD insertion, menopause, and prenatal and maternity care), well-child visits, and mental health. She is also certified to provide Botox injections for pain management as well as cosmetic indications.
